About the kerala Backpacking Tour

Kerala, located on the tropical Malabar Coast of India, is a lush paradise known for its backwaters, beaches, hill stations, wildlife, and rich culture. From the misty hills of Munnar and the calm backwaters of Alleppey to the vibrant life of Kochi and the beaches of Varkala, Kerala offers a perfect blend of nature, tradition, and wellness. Local Food (Veg & Non-Veg) • Vegetarian delights: Appam with stew, Kerala Sadya (traditional feast), puttu with kadala curry, idiyappam, and avial. • Non-veg specialties: Kerala-style fish curry, Malabar chicken biryani, beef fry with parotta, prawn roast, and meen pollichathu (banana leaf fish). • Meals are usually served with rice, coconut-based gravies, and fresh local ingredients. Weather • Pleasant and humid throughout the year. • Best time to visit: October to March (cooler and ideal for sightseeing). • Summers (March–May): Warm and humid. • Monsoon (June–September): Lush and scenic but heavy rains, great for Ayurveda therapies.
