About the Bhutan Tour

Bhutan, nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, is a serene and mystical country known for its untouched natural beauty, deep-rooted Buddhist culture, and the unique concept of Gross National Happiness. From majestic monasteries perched on cliffs, such as the iconic Tiger’s Nest (Paro Taktsang), to peaceful valleys, fortresses (dzongs), and vibrant local markets—Bhutan offers a perfect blend of spirituality, adventure, and culture. Currency & Mobile Network • The official currency is the Ngultrum (BTN), which is equivalent in value to the Indian Rupee (INR). INR is widely accepted in Bhutan, but ₹500 and ₹2,000 notes are not always accepted, so it's advisable to carry smaller denominations. • For mobile connectivity, Bhutan has two main operators: B-Mobile (by Bhutan Telecom) and TashiCell. Tourists can purchase local SIM cards at the airport or in major towns. Mobile networks work well in most cities and towns, though remote areas may have patchy coverage.
